Celebration of National Voter's and Statehood Day

On the occasion of nation voter's day students were made aware of  the importance of vote and  how   youth can contribute to biggest democracy of the world .After attaining the age of 18years, everyone has right to vote .For this their names have to be included in electoral roll.Our election commission is making its best efforts  in this regard.Before any kind of election i.e. assembly,parliamentary etc election commission runs a special campaign for the inclusion of the name of youth ,who has attained a age of 18 years .In addition to this some deletions,modifications are made in electoral roll  as per requirement.Students were emphasised that they have to submit form no. -6 along with supporting documents to the official deputed by the election commission for concerned area and election commission issue photo -identity card to every eligible voter after completion of  some codal formalties like videography.Our government is not letting any stone unturned in this regard and every  citizen  is told about the importance of vote.In addition to this declamation,painting ,sloven writing etc.competitions have been organised .NCC and NSS volunteers actively participated in different activities being performed in the institution.Sh. Dina Nath lecturer history told the students about the Statehood Day.At last , the students were given some sweets on this occasion.
